Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)

This program includes training on issues such as how to interact and communicate with individuals with disabilities and with persons who use an assistive device or require the assistance of a service animal or support person. It also includes what to do to assist a person with a disability who is having difficulty accessing goods or services. UOIT adopted an e-learning Customer Service Standard training module that was developed by the Council of Ontario Universities.
