Please note that the Master of Arts (MA), Education program received official approval from the Ontario Council on Graduate Studies (OCGS) on February 26, 2010. If you have applied to this program, please be advised that it could take up to 10 weeks from the date of approval for a decision to be made on your application.
The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) is offering a graduate program for both full- and part-time students leading to the degree of Master of Arts (MA), Education. This program will welcome its first cohort of students in July 2010.
Program field: Education and Digital Technologies.
MA students will obtain their degree through successful completion of a combination of coursework and a thesis.
Students enrolled in the MA program will take their courses online, which includes regular (ie. weekly) video conferencing meetings. Some of the program activities may be available in a hybrid (combination of online and face-to-face) fashion.
Approximate time for MA degree completion, based on full-time status, is 12 months or more.
